Finally, remember the spiritual purpose of the journey. A pocket Quran, dua book, Tasbeeh or digital counter, and a small notebook for personal duas can help you stay focused on worship. Pack a lightweight prayer mat if you find one useful, although prayer facilities are widely available. Carry some Saudi Riyals as well as a bank card for everyday expenses, and keep your valuables to a minimum.
